Please specify the GPU in the laptop you are bringing to the workshop

Note: OpenMM and OpenMM Zephyr are accelerated only on specific NVIDIA and ATI GPU cards (see supported NVIDIA and ATI cards). Your laptop does not need one of these cards to use it in the workshop, but without one, you will be limited to running the slower, reference versions of the programs and the experience will not be as exciting.

The laptop I will bring has:

Supported NVIDIA GPU card -- Specify:
Supported ATI GPU card -- Specify:
Does not have a supported GPU card
Do not know yet

To see what GPU your laptop is using,

  • For MacOS: Select "About this Mac" (under the apple). Select "More Info..." and then scroll down to "Hardware --> Graphics/Display."
  • For Windows XP: Select "Start -> Control Panel." Double-click on "System." In the dialog window that appears, select the "Hardware" tab. Click "Device Manager." Then look under "Display adapters."
  • For Windows Vista: Select "Start -> Control Panel." Double-click on "System" OR double-click on "System & Maintenance" and then click on "System." Click "Device Manager." Then look under "Display adapters."
