James Warren

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Scientific Computing and Computational Mathematics program, working in Professor Oussama Khatib's Robotic Manipulation Group.  My research focuses on identifying motion primitives underlying human behaviors and re-targeting these strategies for humanoid robotic control.  In particular, I am studying methods to decompose captured human motion into separate task components that are independent of the physical mechanism performing the movement.
