Jenelle Bray

I am a Simbios Postdoc working with Prof. Russ Altman and Prof. Michael Levitt. My research is focused on G Protein-Coupled Receptors (GPCRs). Specifically, I am interested in the dynamics of GPCRs and the mechanism of GPCR activation.

My undergraduate degree was in chemistry and mathematics from the University of Oregon, where I started my research career on long time protein dynamics with Prof. Marina Guenza. I then went on to the California Institute of Technology, where I received my PhD in chemistry in Prof. Bill Goddard's group. For my thesis, I worked on the development and application of computational methods for the prediction of GPCR structures.
