Title: Domain-Specific Languages for Simulation and Analysis

Abstract:
Computer architectures are changing rapidly. Just as biological organisms are specialized for different functions, computers are becoming specialized because they need to use energy efficiently. This will likely lead to more specialized software, tailored to particular applications and domains. In this talk, I will describe recent trends in computer platforms, and propose some ways that Simbios applications might take advantage of these platforms.
