My main role in Simbios is as the executive editor of a quarterly magazine that we are publishing called Biomedical Computation Review.   This magazine will address the nascent community of those interested in computational methods for solving biomedical problems.  I also work as a postdoc in Sandy Napel's laboratory where I do work on medical image analysis and visualization.  I work on Computer Aided Detection (CAD) algorithms for detecting colonic polyps from CT images.  I have interest in contributing to the image-based model building aspects of Simbios and interfacing with other national infrastructure efforts in this area.
