I am a Sr. Software Engineer working on the SimTK (Simulation Toolkit) for SimBios. Currently I am evaluating the Common Component Architecture (CCA). Our goal is to explore the use of CCA to create software modules in SimTK that can be easily assembled into applications for doing simulations.  Prior to coming to Stanford I worked at Sun Microsystems developing 3D graphics API's such as OpenGL and Java 3D. While working on OpenGL I served as Sun's representative to the OpenGL Architectural Review Board and developed several new extensions to the OpenGL API.
