Simbios

As Simbios Director, my role is to communicate the achievements of Simbios and to help grow Simbios into a well-known, valuable resource for biomedical simulation researchers.  I come from an engineering background, having received my Ph.D. in electrical engineering here at Stanford.  My thesis project actually validated an early version of the SimVascular simulation software for modeling blood flow.  However, I have had an eclectic array of experiences since then, including working as a medical and health reporting intern for WNBC, a local television station in New York City, and developing curriculum for Stanford’s bioengineering graduate program.
